An LDO die is the bare semiconductor chip (die) of a low-dropout linear voltage regulator, without packaged housing. It integrates reference voltage, error amplifier, pass transistor and protection circuits on a single silicon wafer. It outputs a stable, noise-free DC lower voltage by linear regulation, with no switching ripple.
